✈ Wizzair Airbus A320 Approach & Landing Kaunas Airport LTN-KUN

A slightly turbulent approach into Kaunas with plenty of wing flex as we turn onto finals. This appears to be a common occurrence when landing on this runway at Kaunas due to the wind directions here. The weather was fine across Lithuania and the much of the Baltic States but strong winds brought by a cold front knocked us about a bit.

The city of Kaunas itself is visible during the first minute of the video, the airport is situated to the north and is visible by its runway and large white hangers before the aircraft turns on its final approach and lines up for landing.

Great flight with Wizzair, nice crew, on time and very comfortable aircraft. This is a new route for Wizzair and is the first time they've gone head to head with Ryanair in Kaunas. I hope they do well and continue to expand here.

Interesting to see an Omni Air International 767 parked at the airport, no idea why it was there but it left later that evening and rocketed out of the airport and directly over the city centre back west, possibly to Shannon, Ireland and then onwards to the United States.
