How to Install Extended Wheel Studs & Spacers on a NSX (FULL DIY)

Learn how to install extended studs and wheel spacers on your 91-05 Acura/Honda NSX. I went with ARP M12 x 1.5 Honda Studs with a 2.85" length. As for the spacers, I went with trusted brand from Germany, H&R. These effectively converted the Mugen M7 wheels on my rear axle from 17x9 +46 to 17x9 +26. They're perfectly flush now and I'm loving it.

The hardest part of this install would be removing the axle nut that is torqued to 242 ft*lbs (you need a 36mm socket and either a large breaker bar 1/2" or 3/4" drive at minimum or a HD impact gun). After that, you need an angle grinder to grind down the wheel bearing assembly as shown in the video--if you don't have that you'd most likely have to resort to the alternative method of removing/installing studs, which is to grind down 1/4 of the head. A bench sander or a Dremel would have be used in this case.
