In this video, I talked about reductive elimination reactions. This reaction is crucial for forming C-C, C-H, and C-X bonds. Reductive elimination is the reverse form of the oxidative addition. The oxidation state of the metal center decreases. The electron count of the complex also decreases by 2. It is observed for metal centers with high oxidation states. I showed a few examples to explain the concept.
