The roll is what separates the kayak from all other boats. It is also what causes so many paddlers un-needed stress. That stress is from not being sure that you will be able to roll when you need to. Rolling is EASY, but learning it in a stress free environment, properly, and getting over the hump to a confident paddler requires help that understands the process. My instruction has a logistical plan/strategy that lowers stress levels, increases confidence immediately, assures no failure, or very little failure in the process, and delivers success quickly. This video isn't a showpiece, it is just raw footage of Pauline, who just got her new boat, isn't confident in her roll, and needs to get her roll happening. She did a great job in driving from New Hampshire to TN to pick up her Ringer and get it on the water all in under 24 hours with little sleep.
