The Pinnate Unboxing

Hey everyone ! Today we have the Pinnate. Now I was a person to hold the Bali for whoever won it at the auction. THE AUCTION IS LONG OVER ! Anyways the Pinnate... Desmanthus drill holes in like a straight line and hacksaw the slabs out of Ti, He doesn’t have any bandsaws or good means of cutting for tools. If there are slots in the handles they've been cut by a file and drilled out like the cuts he makes. He doesn’t have a table on his grinder so everything is literally as freehand as it gets.The blade and handles are ground to 120 grit and sanded the rest of the way up by hand. He hardens the blades himself in a homemade charcoal forge. The bushings are fitted by sanding the high spots that catch as he shortens them down, no surface grinder to make it flat, and so sandpaper isnt perfect. This one has a different zen pin placement than my regular knives, it was originally inspired by palethius, to make a Kukri. So he was inspired by his when He asked for a basic hole pattern from a customer. His rounding of the handles it’s literally spot on and I do enjoy flipping it a lot. Reminds me of a backline, but full ti instead of g10. Anyways all in all it’s a good bali to have and I did enjoy it while I was holding it for the long over auction.
