He is sinless — the holy Lamb of God. We are rebels, sinners, unworthy. Yet it was for us that Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross. His love is limitless, His mercy beyond understanding. On Golgotha, He paid the price for our salvation. Not because we are good, but because He is Love.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
