Hamley's used to be a few doors up from where it is now, it was in a smaller building that backed on Carnaby Street, it was beautiful, with lovely staircases, and a rather Victorian feel but then they moved to the present building and became a common department store, albeit a toy shop. It's still fun, and still somewhere I would recommend, but it isn't what it could have been.
