Something I forgot to mention was rounding the corners on the flap, I use a circle with 2 1/2 inch diameter
Zipper section
2 pieces main fabric and 2 pieces lining fabric
2 1/2 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall
Under zip section and felt section
2 pieces - 4 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall
Spool section - 1 1/2 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall
Felt - 3 1/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches
Felt Section Lining - 4 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall
Flap piece - 2 1/2 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches tall
Spool holder - 12 inches x 1 inches
Outside to match measurement of inside. You can choose whole fabric or pieced.
Binding on the bias
Zipper 5 1/2 inches or longer. I use zipper by the meter cutting the length I require for a project.
