Like any other quest with God, it won't be easy, but if you are willing to spend real quality time leveling with and getting to know your offspring better, their love can keep your spirit above troubled waters.
I share a part of my own journey to know my children better than I previously invested in.
What I found were three little women who were counting on me to give my marriage everything I had before it ended.
I found that they loved me and their mother all the same, and were prepared to accept the devil's plans, as long as their parents were "happy" apart.
Children may come off as seemingly selfish little people, but in today's world, they still need a mother and father to continue to guide them.
