Strike Industries Mass Driver Review – 1200 Rounds, Big Problems

I put the Strike Industries Mass Driver Comp through over 1200 rounds on my Timberwolf 17 — including a full Steel Challenge match. What I found wasn’t pretty:

• Light primer strikes across multiple ammo types (115gr, 124gr, 147gr)
• Reliability issues that showed up by the 400-round mark
• Malfunctions under match pressure that I couldn’t ignore
• Known problems reported by other shooters online

On paper, the Mass Driver Comp looks like a clever $99 feature — no threaded barrel needed, simple to set up, and it uses forward mass to tame recoil. But clever doesn’t count if your gun can’t finish a stage. This one’s off my gun until I figure out what went wrong.
