Verse:
If you're reading this, I'm trying something new and I just wanted to take this time to share the gospel so warning to those sensitive to religious topics. Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth". This verse is speaking to Ancient Israel and those who are His followers who struggle with fear and anxiety. He tells His people to "be still" be calm, collect themselves, focus less on the little things and more on what bigger than even themselves. His reasoning is the fact that He is God, Almighty, All-knowing, All-seeing and most of all, All-loving, at least according to the Bible. Though there is sin and struggle He always provides a way out of temptation as seen in 1 Corinthians 10:13 so you should be still, not careless, but still and of level-head for you are not abandoned as He is the All Loving immortal God. He further assures His power and ability to do so by saying He will be exalted above ALL nations, no exceptions. This verse calls to be calm, not for no reason but because the LORD your God is with you with grace and love.
