All lionesses besides Vitani and Zira should be viewed as Kiara as they represent her.
Also, as a youth Kovu did sneak into the Pridelands behind Mufasa's back to spend time with his friends but Mufasa was never aware. This note is added just in case the look between Kovu and Simba was not obvious enough and confused anyone (I never know how subtle is 'too subtle') xD
