The one Level 3 Match our Club makes every year and is popular for. Cool stages for an indoor match and hitfactors on the higher side. Very well run. Enjoyed shooting it and was in good shape and mentally focused the whole match.
Stage 4 however left a really bad taste, dropping almost 40 points because of lost time to (re)activate a moving target that didn't activate on first try. Can't say if it was a stage failure, stupidity or just bad luck. Placing 2nd 25points behind the leader, this lost points would have been cruicial. Made a bad call to not request a reshoot, but whatever... one could also argue I didn't win because of the 2 stupid misses I had on moving targets... or all the other little mistakes that added up. If you want to win, you have to become good enough so that you have some room for error, and not bitch about small things that cause you to fall back in the ranking.
So hopefully some lessons learned, and looking forward to the next maches!!
