Victory Heat Rally (2024) - Every PC Rally Game

This one was a long time in-development! Starting out looking a lot like a mash-up between Sega's Power Drift, or Team 17's World Rally Fever, and modern 3-part drift-boost kart racers, the developers eventually ditched the "log" style road sprites and settled on this clean, yet maybe slightly less unusual, polygon road style.

They did, however, keep the cars as chunky sprites and tilted the screen like crazy! This game is fast, frantic and overall fun. Some varied challenges and circuits add to the mix, along with these more traditional rally stages (with a co-driver).

The characters in this game are all manga-styled cartoons, much like World Rally Fever, and the music (though switched off here so you can hear the sound effects) is suitably bouncy and arcade.

I played through almost all of the game to unlock the cars and tracks shown here, and whilst it can get a bit repetitive, and sometimes very challenging, it was generally a lot of fun.
