🔴 MUHOOZI WARNS VOTERS
The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has urged voters to leave polling stations immediately after voting, warning that lingering could cause tension and disrupt peace. He emphasized that election security and management remain the mandate of the Electoral Commission and security agencies, calling on citizens to trust institutions to deliver free and fair elections.
🟣 A SAFE SPACE FOR GIRLS
In Jinja District, a new multimillion-shilling girls’ safe space has been opened at Kakira St. Theresa Primary School. Built by Good Neighbors International Uganda with support from KOICA, the facility aims to address gaps in sexual and reproductive health information, reduce school absenteeism, and keep girls in school.
