Tropical Storm Bheki has underwent an unforeseen intensification, posing a potential threat to Mauritius and Rodrigues.
Further strengthening is expected throughout today as it continues to advance southwestward, and conditions are slightly to deteoriate in the Mascarenes, especially in Rodrigues as strong gusty winds could range from 50-90 kilometres per hour, in addition to heavy localised showers, storm surge and swells also expected to be felt across the region.
