The celestial wedding of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar was celebrated amidst Vedic hymns, floral decorations, and thousands of devotees at the Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai. The grand event was held on the 10th day of the Chithirai festival, with a beautifully decorated stage set up at the temple premises. The divine knot was tied at 8.42 am during the ceremony, which was witnessed by around 15,000 devotees, as per the temple administration.
