In the very heart of Bukhara (Uzbekistan), just steps from the city’s main attractions, stands a madrasah almost no tourists ever enter. The sign clearly says no climbing — but I was invited on an unofficial private tour.
Join me as I explore this hidden spot, climb to places few visitors ever see, and take in the view from the top.
After this “forbidden” adventure, I wander through the beautiful Bolo Khauz Mosque, visit the ancient Ismail Samani Mausoleum, and even stumble upon a small amusement park right next door.
