CARING FOR THE WHOLE : The Message of Yurok Elder and Indigenous Leader EDWARD HORSE AUBREY

Edward Horse Aubrey shares captivating wisdom of his life and of his tribe, the Yurok. The Yurok Nation is the largest Indigenous tribe in California, facing tremendous challenges in preserving their culture and language. Edward and his wife Nicole, who is one of the few remaining members of the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation, work tirelessly in service of their communities. Edward's son Dylan founded DRUM CIRCLE NEWS - an engaging Indigenous Podcast to unite Native American voices.

The One Home Journey met Edward and his family on 26 April 2025, in the Yurok Reservation, near Klamath River and Smith River, in Northern California.
