I’ve been searching for the perfect ultra-wide lens for surf and water photography — something that could give me the dramatic perspective of a fisheye without all the heavy distortion on the edges. That’s why I picked up the Canon RF 10-20mm F4 L IS STM, even though Canon designed it mainly for architecture and landscapes. Naturally, the first place I had to test it was in the ocean. 🌊📷

Split shots / 50/50s: How does it handle half-above, half-below-the-surface compositions with an 8-inch Aquatech dome?

Something not covered in the video since it's photography based is that there's a horrible worble on the edges for video. I definitely do NOT recommend this lens for video unless it's on a tripiod. I can't stress that enough that the Canon RF 10-20 f4 is a photography lens and NOT meant for video. Even hand held on land, there's crazy distortion and can't in good conscious recommend it for video.
