Liara has one of the best romance arcs in the Mass Effect Trilogy. From coaxing her out of her shell in Mass Effect 1 to reuniting and helping her take out the Shadow Broker in Mass Effect 2, and taking on the Reapers together in Mass Effect 3, Liara is with us almost all the way. We’ll forgive her for the Collector base.
While the Liara romance is best if you follow it through all three games, it’s actually possible to form a new relationship with her in Mass Effect 3 if you didn’t romance her before. About halfway through the game, Liara will email Shepard asking to meet up on the Citadel. During this conversation you can push beyond the friend zone and start dating her.
