DIY Removable Dog Seat in the Polaris! Sarge loves riding in his new comfortable platform!

Sarge loves to join us when we ride, but he was never able to sit comfortably. The stock Polaris seats were not designed with dogs in mind! I decided to make my own "seat", or padded platform that he would be able to sit on and lay down on when he gets tired.

Overall, this project went really well! I am not very good in this crafty department, but it turned out pretty nice in the end.

The vehicle I'm working on in this video is a 2019 Polaris RZR 1000 XP Ride Command Edition, but the same idea could be used in most any Polaris RZR, General, or even Ranger. As long as you get the right seat base, you could make something work.

The foam padding and vinyl seat material that I used was from Joann Fabrics. *UPDATE* Joann Fabrics is now closed, but an equivalent material is available at Michaels.
