🇭🇰REPULSE BAY | PONGAL meal at ANJAPPAR Indian Restaurant | Hong Kong

We started our Day with Lunh at Anjappar Indian Restaurant, which is Both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian restaurant with popular South Indian cuisine ( based on Tamilnadu state). It was a very special day as many Indians celebrate a traditional festival called PONGAL, and on this day people mostly eat vegetarian food with many different types of foods including vegetables, rice, sweet ( payasum ), fruits, sugar cane and many more dishes, which are served on Fresh Banana leaf.

We enjoyed it along with Masala dosa and some other Non vegetarian food such as Nandu or Crab soup and Lamb Biryani, as we weren’t aware of the rice with the PONGAL meal is unlimited. Food was tasty but please book your PONGAL meal prior visit by phone call or online options if available.

After lunch, we drove to Repulse Bay, which is also known as Tain Shui Wan, and located on. Southern Hong Kong Island. Many City buses are available from Central and other parts of Hongkong, the nearest MTR station is ‘The Ocean Park’, Private cars and Taxis are also allowed.

Repulse Bay is very clean and tidy bay, from where we can enjoy beautiful Sunset and hear tidal sound at the shore, there is a park adjacent to the sea and also ‘Tin Hau Temple’.

There is beautiful architecture of many Skyscrapers with unique features. From Repulse Bay you can also locate ‘Ocean Park’ on the Hillside, with Huge, high toed Roller Coaster and other amusement rides.

We sheltered at ‘The Pulse Shopping Mall’ for relaxing and refreshments. This is very open Mall for Parking Lot ans Exclusive for Pets both in and on the beach. We had coffee there in cafeteria and relaxed on Swing with desks on the ground floor, Wash rooms are very clean.

Only the thing we couldn’t find after few hours was food or snacks, we were so hungry but except Ice cream and Coffee nothing else that we could snack, as we are selective food picker, we were looking for Mc’Donald, we found a Ronald’s Mascot but not restaurant, even after asking others.

Anyway, there is another Mall called Repulse Bay Arcade, might be having many options, but no complaints, We enjoyed at The Pulse Shopping Mall too.
