Aavaas in Paleti, 2023

Aavaas is a poet, composer, and a trained singer.
His musical journey has taken him through many ups and downs in his life and the nation’s socio-political situations.
Aavaas followed Manjul and Raamesh, and accompanied them and the group as a supporter of the then Marxist-Leninist communist party during the Panchayat era.
A few years after the restoration of Democracy, he detached himself from politics and indulged in attaining musical knowledge. He joined the gurukul of the Maestro Amber Gurung.

He sings:
Songs of freedom,
Songs of life,
Song of love and separation,
Songs of war,
Songs of social reality.

Aavaas’ musical journey is a testimony to the life he lives. He has archived the times he lived through and witnessed. His musical archive will remain a gift to the society for years to come.
