Recently took a trip down to Grayton/Santa Rosa Beach/Destin Florida to surf fish for pompano, and whatever else was biting. Caught my limit and then some! All pomps were caught on pompano rigs using sand-flea flavored fish bites for bait. 2-4oz pyramid weights, 20-30lb braid, 25lb leader pompano rigs.
Reels: Daiwa Saltiga 8000, Daiwa Certate SW 5000
Rods: Penn prevail II 10ft, Daiwa BG combo rod 10ft.
