For this short original composition, I went for a more modern sound. The riffs have a bit more complexity in the melody (and rhythm) than the traditional locrian/phrygian/diminished/bluesy tonalities you might be used to hearing.

For the lead, I purposefully didn't match the rhythm of the backing track. I really dig the vibe this gives for the leads as it seems really flowing and smooth.
