Stockton Mass Shooting Latest: 5 a.m. Update
A mass shooting at a child’s birthday party on Lucile Avenue in Stockton left 15 victims, including four people killed, ages 8, 9, 14, and 21. The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office says the attack may have been targeted and that multiple shooters appear to be involved. Hospitals in Stockton and Modesto treated several victims, including a 9-year-old in fair condition. The Youth Peace & Justice Foundation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. With no suspects in custody, local and county leaders are urging witnesses and community members to come forward with information.
