LYL International Karting Circuit at Sungai Long | SODI RT8 Go-Kart Laps [4K/50FPS]

This karting track has an elevated bridge section, fast corners and a lighted tunnel for the extra thrills of speed! The full circuit is 1.5 kilometers in length and is professionally designed to replicate the best motorsports circuits around the world!

| SODI RT8 270cc |

LYL utilises the French-made SODI RT8. It is a very dependable kart with professional features that sets it apart from other go karts. The engine is 270cc and can reach speeds up to 51km per hour, in which I believe it is capped from further exceeding?

The overall balance is good, handling is very direct with a slight lean towards more understeer in the corners. Throttle response is decent and the power out of corners has a nice gradual buildup. However, the engine might be capped to not be able to reach it's full potential from feeling. I am comparing the engine potential to the SODI RT10 that I drove previously.

Fully outdoors track located at Monkey's Canopy Sungai Long (Cheras/Kajang side), situated at around 400 meters above sea level in the lush rainforest hills backdrop.

This is hands down one of the top circuits to drive at, where it's professional design complements the extended thrills and adrenaline of karting here. There are 15 corners around here, with a variety of fast, medium and slow sections. The elevation to the bridge and decline to the final corners is extremely fun to conquer at full speed!

The track can be easy at slow speeds, if you look to go fast be aware of the different types of corners on this track. There's many which require different driver skillsets from tackling aggressively to cautiously. Try to avoid all the kerbs as it really bumpy and unsettles the kart.

LYL made the circuit competently safe, with lot's of run off area, kerb limits and tecpro barriers used at high-end karting tracks. There's also a few lighted flag boards to indicate track incidents, etc. Tarmac track is smooth and bump-less, which feels fantastic at high speed!

Per 10 minute session, you can do around 5 laps maybe 6 laps in drier conditions compared to my damp session. Be sure to clock in around 1.45 to 1.50s to do so, and you can refer to the live timing boards above the track at the start/finish line. You will also need a lap time of 1.35 and below to unlock the faster SODI 390cc karts (Highly recommend to only kart on a dry session to achieve this).
