How To Make Persian Love Cake

150g salted butter
1 cup white
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cardamom
2 eggs
1 cup natural yoghurt
3 tsp baking powder
2 cup almond meal
1.5 cups plain flour
1/4 cup slivered almonds

1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup water
juice of 1/4 lemon
1 tbsp rose water
1 tsp saffron water

garnish with crushed pistachios and rose petals
