Primary Failure Scramble Rifle and Pistol Drill

🔥 Primary Failure Scramble Drill
This is one of the best drills you can run to sharpen your transitions, diagnosis, and manipulation under pressure. If you carry a rifle and pistol—or compete in environments where primary-to-secondary transitions matter—this one needs to be in your rotation.
Setup:

• Pistol: 1 in the chamber, empty mag inserted, full mag on your hip
• Rifle: 1 in the chamber, empty mag inserted, full rifle mag staged
On the Beep:
1️⃣ Fire 1 round with the rifle → bolt lock
2️⃣ Transition to pistol → fire 1 round → slide lock → reload → fire 1 more
3️⃣ Keep pistol in retention — do NOT holster until you visually diagnose the rifle
4️⃣ Once you confirm the issue (empty mag), holster → fix the rifle → run the bolt
5️⃣ Optional: Recover both empty mags and perform combat reloads for extra reps
