Late in the film, Dutch is the only one left and, having lost all of his modern equipment has reverted to caveman mode, creating traps and weapons out of natural materials. After preparing as best he can, we get to this scene: Dutch now must face almost certain death at the hands of an alien monster, but he chooses to do this the way he does everything: like a warrior.
