Welcome to my latest timelapse video, where I take you on a journey through the creative process of my latest oil painting titled "Whispers of The Old Town". This 20x 20 inch painting, completed in 2023, depicts a beautiful woman in a red silk dress, standing on a balcony overlooking a beautiful, rustic old town at dusk.

As you watch this timelapse footage, you will see the painting evolve through different stages, as I layer colors, highlights, and shadows to create a sense of depth and dimension. You will also witness the challenges and triumphs of working with a new technique.

As an artist, I am always eager to push myself out of my comfort zone and explore new techniques and styles. In this painting, I wanted to capture the serenity of dusk and that restful feeling you only get when traveling to new places.

Materials used:
• Oil paints
• 20 x 20" canvas board
• Paint thinner (odorless mineral spirits)
• Medium (Winsor and Newton Liquin)
• Brushes
• Paper palette
• Palette knife
• Paper towels (or tissues that I use to wipe the brushes)

Time taken: approx 25 hours
