A Scroll Saw Box With Living Hinge Wall

A box made with a living hinge. A living hinge is made by cutting patterns in the wood to make if flexible but leave it intact, not cutting it into separate pieces. There are various patterns some very intricate and cut with laser cutters. This is a simple staggered line cut that allows a one eighth thick piece of baltic birch plywood to form a circle and used as a box wall. I didn't cut this one as neatly as I normally would. Garden season is upon us here in Texas and I split my time from shop to garden and rush myself a little more than I should. It is an interesting concept and makes a neat little box.
