The 5.3 Junkyard/Budget Turbo LS Build Continues | Intercooler, Shocks, New Parts + MORE!

This time on SPPTV Rob continues final assembly on the front end of his 1987 Chevrolet S-10 Budget Turbo Build Project! The engine is a 5.3L L33, which has an aluminum block, and 799 heads. It was picked up as a core engine needing repair for only $280! The turbocharger is a VS Racing brand 7875 Chinese unit. We have had great success with the VS Racing Chinese GT45 on the "Sh!thorse", our budget turbo 6.0 LS Mustang.

The engine is in for good! Time to start cleaning, painting, and re installing everything around it. The core support is put back on, along with the radiator. The cold side piping fitment is checked. The waterpump makes its way back on to the engine. And all the rad hoses connected with custom pieces, chosen by Rob to give as clean a look as possible!

New parts have arrived also! A shift kit for the Junkyard 4l80e, shocks for the S-10, parts for the Sh!thorse's L33 5.3, and more!
