Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, whatever you guys celebrate! Here's another round of WXXA from around the holiday season, complete with plenty of Xmas-themed adverts!
This aired during Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. WXXA-TV (channel 23) is Fox's affiliate for Albany, NY, and at the time had just passed the one-year mark of being a full-fledged network.
The movie starred Dick Van Dyke, who celebrated his 98th birthday this month. Well into his 90s, Van Dyke is still in the business. In fact, this past February, he reappeared on Fox's The Masked Singer (which airs locally on WXXA), and CBS did a birthday salute to him a few days ago.
