Halfway through the journey, her engine failed, forcing her to rely entirely on the wind. When she hit the doldrums — days of complete calm — there was no escape, no forward motion, only silence.
What began as an adventure became a meditation. Alone at sea for 164 days, Emma raced through gales and drifted through stillness, discovering a different kind of time — one that stretches, deepens, and dissolves urgency.
With poetry by Stephen Jenkinson, music by Gregory Hoskins, visual art by Daniel Beerstecher, and haunting photography from the remote island of Tristan Da Cunha by Andy Isaacson, this is not just a sailing story — it’s an invitation to reimagine time.
