The place that once served as the summer home of Tipu Sultan, Big Nandi & yoga Nandeeshwara temple is a hill fortress located at some 60 km away from Bengaluru.
The trekking trail leading to the Nandi Hills is actually a stone stairway, which takes the visitor through scenic wonders, tree-lined paths and resting spots. The trekking trail is suitable for anyone like first-time trekkers, the seasoned ones, and even for children. Also note first half trek its ok.. but after that its Little Steep Rock Trail so you have to take more rest.
