Highly sensitive people have a different way of processing the world and reacting to external factors such as sounds, lights, smells, tastes, and textures. Research has shown that being a highly sensitive person, or HSP, is roughly 60% genetic and 40% environmental. Although the link between the MTHFR gene variant and HSP has not yet been investigated by researchers, we'll talk about a few reasons why I think there is a link as well as some factors that could influence this statement.
