Tamiya TT02 Chasing a Pair of Tamiya XV01’s

Test run of my chase car: a TT02 with a GoPro camera mounted on a Kamtec dust cover.
This is a relatively new chassis running the stock electronics that came with the kit: a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor and TBLE02 ESC. I haven’t had much track time with this car so I had a difficult time keeping up with the XV01’s. I’m not used to the handling characteristics of the TT02, which seemed easier to flick around vs. the XV01. That said, it also felt too tail-happy. The added weight of the camera up front probably had something to do with it. Will try mounting the tail camera next time to see if it can act as a ballast to even out the F/R weight distribution.
The cam mount itself was very stable. Footage on the GoPro Session was pretty good with acceptable vibration. Will try filming with a Hero next time so we can get better slow mo footage.
