The poem reminds us of the famous doha of Das Maluka that said Ajgar kare na chakari, panchhi kare na kaam, Das Maluka keh gaye, sabke daata Ram. Vyas Ji was well known to Hindi readers, as the writer of the longest running news paper column Narad Ji Khabar Laye Hain in Denik Hindustan for 45 years.
