Here is a dedicated compilation of the trains in Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel's motion pictures. For nearly one hundred movies, there are not a great quantity of films featuring trains but for the trains featured they are pretty swell. The films included in this compilation are as follows:
0:00 - Intro at RH&D
0:13 - The Lucky Dog (1921)
0:30 - 45 Minutes From Hollywood (1926)
0:35 - With Love and Hisses (1927)
1:01 - Two Tars (1928)
1:36 - Liberty (1929)
1:47 - Berth Marks (1929)
3:21 - Hog Wild (1930)
4:01 - Another Fine Mess (1930)
4:26 - County Hospital (1932)
5:23 - A Chump at Oxford (1940)
6:10 - Great Guns (1941)
7:15 - A-Haunting We Will Go (1942)
8:09 - The Big Noise (1944)
8:50 - Atoll K (1950)
Several Pacific Electric and Yellow Car trolleys, which is normal for early Hollywood films at the time since the local area served as a great backdrop for pictures. Then we see several Southern Pacific engines and even a few international engines including a Great Western Railway Castle Class (not to mention the RMS Queen Mary). Hope you enjoy!
