The Stray Puppy Chasing People at the Station Finally Found Someone to Stay For

The station was bustling with people. My son and I had just seen off our relatives and were about to leave. Suddenly, my son softly exclaimed, "Huh?" Looking down, he saw a tiny, filthy puppy lying at his feet. It was no bigger than the palm of his hand, its fur tangled into clumps, covered in dust—clearly a stray dog.
My son is a sensitive child with a kind heart. Seeing the puppy’s wet, pleading eyes, he didn’t shoo it away. Instead, he squatted down, gently stroked its head, and smiled foolishly.
The dog was peculiar—it chose my son out of the many people in the station, looking up at him with its dirty face and pitiful eyes.
