Grosbeaks

While many songbirds have begun nesting, others are just starting to migrate to their nesting habitats. Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are a favorite during migration. The NC piedmont area is only a stopping point to their final destination, so keep an eye out for their striking colors and impressive bill as we get later into April and early May.
