'Bulldozer is an answer': Arif Mohammad Khan backs BJP states' action against violence accused

Kerala governor Arif Mohammad Khan has backed BJP state governments' bulldozer action, claiming only those are being targeted who indulge in criminal activities and that the demolition of their properties is an appropriate answer to their actions. Khan sought to defend the Hijab ban, saying the practice of covering hair by Muslim girls is 'un-Islamic'. The Kerala governor claimed that Muslims in India have progressed over the last few decades, citing the surge in number of pilgrims who go for Hajj from India that cost several lakh rupees per person.
