Vevey is a city, the capital of the Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut district and a municipality in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

The city on the north-eastern shore of Lake Geneva used to be an important trading center and benefited in the 19th century from the boom in industry and tourism, which are still the main pillars of the economy today. The city also gained notoriety as the headquarters of Nestlé S.A.
