Our November 30, 2025 day trip to Nara, Japan -- We took the train from Osaka to Nara. Our first stop was Nara Park, where the kids had an absolute blast feeding the friendly deers. It was such a fun and unique experience seeing them bow and interact so closely with visitors.
After the deer park, we walked over to the iconic Tōdai-ji Temple. It was a hard, 15-minute walk as Nara is quite hill-y.
By lunchtime, we headed to Blue Mountain Cafe and Farm, specifically to find gluten-free meal options.
In the afternoon, we took the train back to Osaka and arrived in Dotonbori around 3:00 PM. We made a quick stop at the hotel to recharge before heading out again in the evening.
At 7:00 PM, we went out again for dinner at Namba City, at a revolving sushi restaurant 🍣. Since it was still early, we ended the night at Taito Station on Nansan Street, a huge arcade that the kids absolutely loved—such a perfect way to wrap up the day! 🇯🇵❤️
