During his visit to Nairobi, Kenya, on 11th December 2022, His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, head of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community, met with H.E. William Ruto, the President of Kenya, at the State House, Nairobi.
President Ruto commended the social and environmental initiatives undertaken by the Dawoodi Bohras of Kenya to impact the lives of those around them.
“We are collaborating with the Dawoodi Bohra community to build low-cost houses, especially in the informal settlements,” said President Ruto during the meeting. The Dawoodi Bohra community has been instrumental in supporting the Government’s drought mitigation efforts, he added.
