How to install the Load Handler on a full-sized truck:

Here it is so this is our package that's how it came. I got a heavy-duty one. I was told by my neighbor that the light-duty has plastic and you don't want the plastic obviously. No plastic. Plastic is forbidden in the world of really anything. So here goes without further ado I'm going to put it together. So here you have the easy load handler I guess. You just call it the load handler installed in the truck.

Now like I said I've used this on a friend's vehicle and it works just great. So this was the heavy-duty model all installed ready to go. I didn't really time it but it was probably an hour to install and I did last week. I did a load basically a ton of gravel ton of one and a half-inch gravel and it worked just great. So we're going to load this thing up with trash.

We're going to take it to the dump and unload it all. And that piece of plywood right there that's a really good thing to do. You stick that plywood so the fabrics up behind the plywood then just going down the back of the bed a little bit there and then when you start to pull it the plywood sort of pulls on the stuff the load in the bed. MAIN ASSEMBLY
Assemble the Roller Bar.
Screw-in Slugs as far as they will go into either end of the Middle Roller Bar section.

Screw-in DS & PS Roller sections as far as they will go.
The Roller sections will meet in the middle of each Slug.
NOTE: It is not necessary to overly tighten the Roller sections. The first time you unload with the Loadhandler®, the torque will tighten them the rest of the way.

Also, note that the DS of Roller has a slot for a handle.
Have the DS of Roller to your left for the rest of the assembly, as if you were approaching the rear of the truck to install the Load handler®. A lowered truck tailgate makes a good assembly tabletop. Unfold Drawsheet and attach to Roller with Duct Tape. Align the edge of the 15' length of Drawsheet to marker on DS of Roller.
Apply tape in a horizontal line across 50" width of Drawsheet (42" width on Mid-Size unit) and affix to Roller.

Roll Drawsheet onto Roller.

The direction of the roll is clockwise when facing the DS Roller end from the driver side.
When roll-up is complete, Drawsheet unfurls counter-clockwise from top of Roller to unroll and rolls clockwise back over the top of Roller when rewinding (unloading).

Remove Red End Caps from each end of the Roller. Slide one Shaft Collar onto each end of the Roller. Slide a Bearing Bracket onto each end. The strap side of the Bracket goes on inside of the tailgate (towards the front of the truck), and the rubber side makes contact with the inside of the tailgate. Slide a second Shaft Collar on each end of the Roller.

Insert 1” Screws and Square Nuts but do not tighten all the way yet. Put Red End Caps back on each end of Roller. Slide the DS Rear Bracket onto DS Bearing Bracket and loosely affix Bolts, Washers, and Nuts as shown. (The DS Rear Bracket has Warning Label and extra buckle to accommodate the Bumper Tie-Down.) Tailgate thickness will dictate which of the 4 holes is the best fit for your truck. Do not tighten yet. Attach PS Rear Bracket same way as above. Put together Handle Assembly as in the diagram.
