I remember the first time I heard this tune by Foghat called Stone Blue, and it was either in 1978 / 79 in a hometown bar called the Airport Hotel situated in South Porcupine (South End) of Timmins Ontario.
The musicians doing the cover were local, and on guitar was Rene Dumais, on drums, Bill Isherwood, and if memory serves, Jake Couture on bass.
I do not recall the vocalist, but for whatever the reason the song stuck in my head all these years. In fact, the first time I heard that tune way back when in that bar, the very next day I went to Sam's, and bought the album, and have been humming Stone Blue ever since.
Hope you enjoy my rendition, as much as I enjoy jamming these tunes out so many years later.
