Hi! I’m Taylor, I’m glad you’re here.
Join me on my first flight as a licensed pilot, sharing the skies with my best friend and first non-pilot passenger, Paige. Unfortunately, my audio cord malfunctioned and we didn’t capture the flight deck audio so instead, ride along with us while I tell you the story of how I got my PPL.
Today’s flight is both fun and purposeful. Fresh off my PPL training, I’m diving into my instrument rating (IRA) to enhance my skills and safety, allowing me to fly in a wider range of weather conditions. One of the key requirements for the IRA (instrument rating airplane) is 50 PIC (pilot-in-command) cross-country hours, and this flight is a step towards that goal.
This flight also kicks off my Lunch Adventure series, where I’ll be flying to different SoCal airport cafes for lunch or a snack while racking up those x-country hours. Stay tuned for the next video in the series, where Paige and I will be heading to KCMA for what are rumored to be the best milkshakes in Southern California!
A little about me, I’m a California real estate agent by trade and I love to spend all my free time flying or traveling. Come along with me on travel and aviation adventures. Like my dad always says, “where in the world is Taylor today,” follow along to find out!

A quick note: While I am a licensed pilot, I’m not a certified flight instructor and nothing included in any of my videos is intended to be instruction. Please know that all checklists and Pilot in Command (PIC) duties are carried out in full compliance with FAA regulations, whether or not they are shown in the video. All videos have been edited for time.
